This week at North Coast Strategies, LanzaTech was also featured this week on CBS, ABC, and Marketwatch for being the only U.S. company named in HRH Prince William’s Earthshot Award. Although they did not win that award, they did win the prestigious Energy Globe Award. This week they also announced their latest installation in Belgium at an event that the Prime Minister of Belgium participated in with ArcelorMittal. Fermata Energy was featured in a podcast this week and in a great article in Green Car Reports. They also launched their new website this week and unveiled their new brand. We also joined representatives from Fermata Energy and LanzaTech, who spoke at the Energy Forum at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

HRH Prince William and Kate were in Boston this week to announce the winners of The Earthshot Prize, which LanzaTech was the only company from the US to be a finalist for. The event looked amazing, with coverage in People, NBC Boston, and Town & Country. Our client also appeared on the morning of the event on CBS National News and on Good Morning America. Fermata Energy also secured this great bylined article in Fleet Management Weekly about the value of V2X technology and EVs.

There are publications, both digital and print, that will publish stories from the news release itself while others want to talk to the people mentioned in the release itself. Others will publish your news if you successfully reach out to them to ensure your release is top of mind.

This week, we had great stories to share. From sharing the news about The Earthshot Prize with local media in Chicago with articles in the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Business Journal, and Chicago Crain’s, to seeing similar news in People, Vanity Fair, Town & Country, and edie.net.

Next week one of our clients, the Guild of Artists & Artisans is hosting their final art fair of the season and we received some coverage around that with TV appearances this weekend and next week.

LanzaJet continues to make the news with its work in sustainable aviation and Fermata Energy is making news as more people learn about its vehicle-to-grid technology. This includes a great podcast with Battery and Storage.

This week the media continued to share stories about LanzaTech’s collaboration with On, Coty, Givaudan, and Coty among others. I am grateful to Amy Harder, executive editor of Cipher by Breakthrough Energy, for including LanzaTech in her one-year anniversary story favorites. LanzaJet also has a number of great projects and partnerships it is announcing and we are grateful to Robert Downey, Jr. and his Footprint Coalition for mentioning LanzaJet in a recent newsletter. News about Fermata Energy’s partnership with Nissan continues to permeate the headlines and we want to thank Alexa St. John from Business Insider for continuing to share their story.

Reuters story on U.S. ethanol plant emissions is withdrawn

t is very rare that a publication would withdraw an entire story but this week Reuters did from a story they published involving one of our clients. They even published their withdrawal. But hundreds of publications syndicated Reuters content and in a digital era, their story spread. But searching for that story online you can only find a few of them. This week, our clients at LanzaTech and LanzaJet spoke at events during the Clean Energy Ministerial. And The White House announced a road map for their sustainable aviation fuel challenge, which we distributed a news release about.

From launching a running shoe with On and LanzaTech to advancing discussions on the power of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology for EVs at the North American International Auto Show to being able to see the President of the United States and Secretary of Transportation, along with our client LanzaTech attending the White House Summit on Biotechnology & Biomanufacturing for the American Bioeconomy, and getting ready for the Common Ground Birmingham Street Art Fair this past weekend, it has been a great week but a busy week for us. Here are some of the latest headlines clients are making worldwide.

From the historical passage of climate change legislation in the U.S. to launching New York City’s first Vehicle-to-Grid initiative, to enjoying the great outdoors of Northeastern Ohio at the Levis Commons Fine Art Fair and celebrating National Thrift Store day, it was another busy week telling our client’s stories. Here are a few media clips from the past week.

Game changer!

“Game Changer!” That’s how the media is describing LanzaTech’s partnership with Danone with coverage in Europe and The Americas. Leading up to a holiday weekend in the U.S., a holiday in the middle of the week in France, and other national holidays in Europe with some of the same press you are trying to reach who are Switzerland covering Davos 2022, we were able to share some of the amazing innovation and partnerships from our clients. This week we also represented our client, Fermata Energy at the Global Fleet Expo and continue to advance the reputation of all the companies we work with. To those honoring Memorial Day in the US and Ascension Day in Europe, let’s remember the sacrifices people made to get us here. And let us never forget the innocent children of Uvalde, Texas.

Fermata Energy Expands Its V2X Technology to Support Growth of the European Electric Vehicle Market

Fermata Energy Expands Its V2X Technology to Support Growth of the European Electric Vehicle Market

Rising gas prices in the U.S. and worldwide have many consumers rethinking electric vehicles. However, the U.S. still trails Europe and China in EV adoption primarily due to better incentives and greater acceptance of EVs as an affordable option. Seizing the moment based on its successful projects in the US, Fermata Energy, a leading U.S. vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology company is expanding its presence in Europe. Fermata Energy has recently opened an office in London, UK, with Claire Weiller, Ph.D. leading their growth in Europe to stay ahead of the automotive industry's transition to all-electric fleets. You can find the news release attached and below. I hope to become a resource to you on stories regarding the transition to EVs and, specifically, the real power of an EV as a portable mini-grid.

Securing your story in Reuters, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, ZDNET and more

This week was a big week for our clients, fighting the climate crisis, and climate tech. Microsoft Climate Investment Fund announced it is investing $50 million in LanzaJet for alcohol-to-jet fuel biorefinery which led to this exclusive in Reuters and a story in Bloomberg. And yesterday we announced that Carlyle Commits Over $100 Million in Battery Storage and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Technologies to Accelerate the Energy Transition that resulted in this article in The Wall Street Journal.

The true power of an EV is what it can do while parked

The true power of an EV is what it can do while parked

Electric vehicles are wasting energy while parked. The real potential of an EV lies in how vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology enables EV owners to access different value streams. A collaboration between Fermata Energy, The Alliance Center, and Colorado CarShare has resulted in over $950 in savings on its electricity bills in just four months using one Fermata Energy 15kW bidirectional charger and one Nissan LEAF.
